F**k St. Nicks! Here's what my friend says about St. Nicks; its hard to park, some idiot plays Born in the USA more than once and the bartenders take their sweet assed time reaching beneath the bar to pull out a beer. Everyone also seems to stare at each other in a primordial meat market for losers. Don't take an attractive woman to the bar unless she wants to know what it's like to walk by a construction site. Go only if you think little of yourself, because you'll be in great company.

Here's what I say about St. Nicks; The door guy took FOREVER trying to figure out how old I was on my ID. I'm not that young and I'm not that old. While waiting at the bar for a drink, this couple cut RIGHT IN FRONT OF US!! I guess his fat date needed a drink like a crack head needed a hit. Bar wasn't that busy but the bartenders took their time taking our order and closing our tab.

I took a seat next to the bar and after a few minutes the guy next to me said "Oh this seat is for my friend but you can keep it warm for him while he waits." Does my ass look like a seat warmer? Maybe you could have told me your friend was sitting there before I sat down, jackass. Oh and your favorite baseball team sucks! I hope they lost whatever game you were watching last night.

In conclusion, st. nicks = suckage.

/end rant :)

For me, it's all about the beer.
So... that means Lucky Baldwin's, Lucky Baldwin's Delirium Cafe, Stuffed Sandwich, Father's Office, Naja's Place and my dining room.

If I must stumble in light of Adam's comment, then I will stumble to and from the Green Frog, Chimney Sweep, Casa Vega, Senor Fred. I'll spare myself the scary windowless Russian Nights.

However, tonight I went to 3 Clubs for the first time on Vine at Santa Monica. Mighty fine and mighty dark.

Beer drinking has a lot to do with convenience (staggering distance, cab it, or crash there?) and mood (mine, to be percise). Generally I like Father's Office at Montana and 10th in Santa Monica. The good: The burger is amazing and there are 30 beers on tap. The bad: It's a little froo-froo, and always has a long line at the door. It's a locals spot, but you can overcome that by clicking the link to the Citysearch review. I'm also a fan of Barney's Beanery (in Hollywood) and college bars like the Nine-Oh (dive by USC) and Westwood Brew Co (decent place by UCLA).
