The fro-yo frenzy may have left Boba in the dark. At 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 8th, while Pinkberrys across LA were enjoying their lines, I Love Boba in Koreatown was robbed.
A Hispanic man of about 5-feet-7 walked into the shop and handed the clerk a demand note. The clerk opened the cash register as ordered and stepped back. The video captures the suspect reaching over the counter. A tattoo on his left arm, which resembles a tribal banded tattoo similar to that used by South Pacific Islanders, is prominently displayed.
