Former Jane's Addiction guitarist and current Panic Channel heart-throb Dave Navarro has had a crazy year. His split from Carmen Electra was public and messy, the TV show that he co-hosted with Brooke Burke was highly-rated and messy, but all along he has been one of LA's most reliable celebrity bloggers, giving guys like Wil Wheaton a run for Most Popular LA Celeb Blogger.
A mix between updating his fans on his tour schedule and insights on his rock star life, Navarro also answers questions from his readers. What keeps people going back to his blog is that his answers are quite revealing.
Here's the former Red Hot Chili Pepper's response to the question "what is your favorite Thanksgiving memory":
There are many favorites that are heart warming and full of laughter and love, but the one that ALWAYS gets brought up at the table by my Dad every year, is the 7-UP story. He'll get this big smile on his face and say, "Hey Dave, don't worry... We have plenty of 7-UP!" He is referring to a Thanksgiving many years ago, when I made up an excuse that my girlfriend had a bad stomach and needed 7-UP. Johnny & I left to "get 7-UP" and instead, drove downtown to cop some heroin. We were gone for like an hour and when we got back, we didn't even have any 7-UP with us. It was more than obvious to the whole family where we had gone. So, I guess when they joke about it now, it's both funny and a way to give thanks and celebrate the fact that we are both so far away from that life. It's nice when you can look back on times and truly be grateful for where you have been and how far you have come. - 6767.comAP photo by Chris Polk
