Judith Regan Has Lost Her Mind, OJ Publisher Tells All

Judith Regan on her show on Sirius

The OJ Trial never ends. People will be debating the botched police work, the missing blood, the glove that didn't fit, the 9-1-1 call, Kato hearing a knock, the cut on OJ's hand, the mysterious slow Bronco chase that was never even alluded to during the epic trial, and Mark Fuhrman getting caught lying on the stand for years to come.

For a jury who heard all the testimony and came back quickly with a verdict of not guilty due to reasonable doubt, others seem to have no doubt. Reasonable or otherwise.

Last night celebrity book publisher Judith Regan gave Matt Drudge an exclusive statement about why she interviewed OJ and agreed to publish the fictional tale of how he would have killed his ex-wife. In a long, rambling, and what appears to be slightly insane explanation Regan basically says that she thought OJ was guilty because she had a relationship with a doctor who beat her and never went to jail.

She also says OJ won't be getting the millions that her company is paying for the rights to publish the literature.

What I do know is I didn’t pay him. I contracted through a third party who owns the rights, and I was told the money would go to his children. That much I could live with.

What I wanted was closure, not money.

I had never met him and never spoken with him until the day I interviewed him. And I was ready. Fifty-three years prepared me for this conversation.

The men who lied and cheated and beat me—they were all there in the room. And the people who denied it, they were there too. And though it might sound a little strange, Nicole and Ron were in my heart. And for them I wanted him to confess his sins, to do penance and to amend his life. Amen.
