Like this means anything. After bascially making a career out of being a snobby underachiever, Beck finally produces a record that NO ONE cares about. LA's Amoeba is probably the ONLY store selling any copies of this wet turd.
America doesn't care anymore, Beck. IF they ever did.

Wow I can't believe they are releasing a copy of that Pavement show at the Palace. I remember local indie band Further, Rollerskate Skinny(featuring Kevin Shields brother) opening up for Pavement. I went home with my Pavement powered shirt(which was a rip on "peavey powered") that night too. Such good times.

I don't think Beck is particularly "snobby."
Its just those garbage kitchen-sink sarcastic lyrics that (hopefully) make you embarrassed to sing along.
The puppets, the robot dancing, the goofy faces and clothes. Everything is safe and tongue-in-cheek.
