Tuesday Night
"NBA Basketball" (PRIME 42, 6:00 p.m.) Clippers @ Jazz
"Nova" (PBS, 8:00 p.m.) A genetic impairment causes an entire Turkish family to walk on all fours. PBS is attempting to become the Discovery Channel, or TLC or something sensational. What next, "When Anthropologists Attack"?
"Dancing With the Stars" (ABC, 8:00 p.m.) This is the finals, finally - does anyone think that they'll let Emmitt Smith walk away with this thing? I'd like to see it happen but I don't think it will.
"Frontline" (PBS, 9:00 p.m.) An expose on Spokane, WA, Mayor Jim West and the accusations of his being a hypocritical homosexual gay-basher like the other conservatives in the news lately.
"Show Me the Money" (ABC, 9:30 p.m.) William Shatner's career gets another extension. Premieres tonight.
"3 Lbs." (CBS, 10 p.m.) I guess the average brain weighs three pounds, except mine is way bigger than that, you know what I mean, hint hint? This series is essentially the neurosurgeon version of "House" with Stanley Tucci starring. Premieres tonight.
"Nip/Tuck" (FX, 10:00 p.m.) Flash forward to the year 2026 and baby Conor tries to make sense of things. Meanwhile, back in "reality" Julia will probably choose to keep mating with a dwarf which only seems like it would further confuse poor baby Conor. Somehow this show hits a new apex of perversion every week, Sodom and Gomorrah on earth do exist, the evangelicals are right, the Second Coming is upon us.
"The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" (Comedy Central, 11 p.m.) Former Senator and former Vice Presidential hopeful John Edwards is on, he probably has a book or something.
"The Late Show With David Letterman" (CBS, 11:30 p.m.): Jack Black pushing his new flick, Fred Travalena does night numero dos of Impression Week, Tenacious D performs
"Late Night With Conan O'Brien" (NBC, 12:35 a.m.): Robin Williams continues to act like he's on his mid-'80s coke high, Christian Slater continues his Jack Nicholson impersonation, Panic! at the Disco panics the kids on MySpace and Buzznet by performing
