Honestly, the USC bulletin boards were celebrating when he got a contract extention. The prevailing attitude in the land of Troy is that he's just good enough to keep his job, but bad enough to undermine the program. Other things holding back UCLA: - Home stadium too far from campus (hurts crowd support, especially student section). - A couple closely spaced, heavily publicized scandals (QB DUI and several players using handicap parking passes).
