In a race that was supposed to be a cakewalk for the Republican incumbent who had his eyes on the White House, George Allen was upended by a former Republican, concluding a midterm election that can only be deemed a mandate.

Which isn't to be confused with a man-date, which is what got other Righties like Mark Foley and Ted Haggard in so much trouble this fall.

Allen has no one to blame but himself. He used a racist term so old fashioned that it should be spelled olde fashioned. Indeed he had always had a race problem, but who knew it would surface on video and be brought to the world (aka the Interweb) via YouTube?

Even before the Congress went to the Left, King of all Windbags Rush Limbaugh today admitted that he's been full of shit for years and he no longer needs to lie for the Right.

The way I feel is this: I feel liberated, and I'm going to tell you as plainly as I can why. I no longer am going to have to carry the water for people who I don't think deserve having their water carried. - Rush Limbaugh

Not quite sure who he plans on lying for in the near future, but we're sure his legions of Dittoheads will nod and agree, as they've always done. The change on the Hill, however, is due to those who decided to put their country in front of the party they normally vote for, and those brave Americans should be applauded today.
