Bottled Water

Hey, we know that our constant nagging at you to get yourself some water to store away for that ominous future disaster that everyone thinks is going to happen can get exasperating -- we call it Chinese water torture. And we really shouldn't say 'think' either. Let's say, "we know it's going to happen."

It's true; people are still out there living their lives day to day without any thought to preparing for a major earthquake. They also say that during the Northridge Earthquake, things "weren't so bad."

Guess what? Since 1994, the population of LA has increased by more than a million people. And guess what? The resources to respond and help bring back the city to normal are just about the same as back then.

Since it's that time of the year to switch out your batteries in your fire alarms, let's make it a habit in Los Angeles to switch out our water and go over our personal/family emergency plans every six months too.
