A trip to Boney Island

In Mrs. Warren's Profession, George Bernard Shaw wrote "If you cannot get rid of the family skeleton, you may as well make it dance." For the past 8 years, Rick Polizzi, an animation producer from The Simpsons, has brought his extended family out for this twisted Coney Island in his front yard.

Thousands of families have massed together at Polizzi's suburban house at the corner of Morse Ave. and Sarah St. in a quiet neighborhood in Sherman Oaks. And due to the growth and popularity, it may be their last time.

Neighbors are feeling the parking impact and have let Polizzi know. In case it goes away or you won't catch it this year, let us tempt you with our Boney Island video.

Our favorite is the skeletons riding in the bucket ride thingie (1:42). Boney Island can be found at 4602 Morse Ave. between Moorpark St. and the 101 Freeway off Coldwater Canyon. It runs through Halloween night from dusk till dawn 9:00 p.m.
