There are four ways to look at the Military Commisions Act that was signed into law Tuesday:
1) Oh Fuck.
2) Surely this will wake up what few logical Republicans are left in that party who will turn their backs on this tyrannical group and do something other than re-elect these un-American power whores.
3) This is all a terrible nightmare.
4) Looks like I've got to run for President in 2008 with one simple campaign promise: to round up everyone in Congress who voted for this, along with the President of the United States and his administration, and find them all enemy combatants and hold them without representation, and torture them until I see fit, duh. And once they've screamed out all of their crimes, I will revoke this evil stain on our country, compile the ill-gotten confessions, and publish them, with the profits going to our public schools which are obviously failing because Americans not only vote these morons into office, but let them wipe their ass with the Constitution because America is too stupid to know what the fuck is going on.
Below we have Tuesday's segment on "Countdown" regarding this wicked law. Pay close attention to who the President sees as American enemies.
Kudos to Mr. Olbermann for being one of the very few press outlets who are taking this law as serious as it should be taken, particularily since this administration has repeatedly stated its disapproval towards the press for reporting on things like Domestic Spying, Secret CIA Prisons, and the news about the torture at Abu Ghraib. Under this new law, the press could go to prison without a trial, get tortured, and never get released, for reporting on those types of stories, simply if the President King George says that those pieces are detrimental to the safety and security of the United States.

This infighting plays right into the hands of people who would divide a nation. The quarrel happening on this site and others is exactly what "They" like to see. Keep your eye on the ball America or you will continue to see your freedom flushed away by bad men in power. America's troubles go far beyond Left/Right, Conserv/lib, etc. It has gone far beyond that point.
The bad men of Enron were exposed, and it is just a matter of time untill bad men in political leadership are exposed for the Greed and Power they encompass. That day will come, be sure.
The real issues like global warming and peak Oil, demand our attention because with a uninhabitable planet all other issues are moot. What we are seeing now is a mad dash for critical control of global oil reserves. We are seeing young boys die for an out of date energy resource. Nikola Tesla had a solution for world energy needs 70 years ago, but again, Bad men would not hear of it.. As trillions of dollars in crude oil profit remained to be exploted from the earth. Now we are seeing severe weather like Katrina as a result.
We as a society, as a species will in time, return to what is important "Spiritual Awareness" not "religion" but knowing our collective souls. Then we will advance as a species.
