I like Roger Ebert. His film reviewing is accesible to mass audiences yet it's still smart, well-informed and comes from a genuine love of film. Unlike many film critics, especially as they age, he has not become some bitter, old man with an axe to grind. Plus, this is the man who wrote Beyond the Valley of the Dolls!
