Is there anything better on a cloudy, October Sunday morning than pumpkin pancakes? LAist thinks not -- so we indulged this a.m. at the International House of Pancakes off Lyons and the I-5 in Santa Clarita. While we're not the biggest fans of IHOP fare in general, we make an exception every year for their seasonal pumpkin pancakes. The pancakes are fluffy, sweet and have a dollop of whipped cream that makes syrup overkill. And at $4.99, it's pretty easy on the wallet, too.
But we know that IHOP isn't the only place for pumpkin pancakes in LA. Drop us a line and let us know where we should go next Sunday morning.

I wonder if Simon down the street at The Egg Plantation is doing any festive breakfast treats.
Griddle cafe has wonderful pancakes like that too...

if youve already been there you can try omelette parlor, but go at 6am so you can get the omelettes half off
Mimi's Cafe - wonderful pumpkin pancakes!
Try getting into the Griddle Cafe anytime other than the day after the Apocolypse! That place has been packed every time I've ever driven by, as in a 90-minute-wait-outside-on-Sunset-at-9-am packed. The 'cakes can't be that great, can they?
what we all missed out on was the Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream at Ben & Jerry's - it sold out nationwide in about a day yet those fokkers left up the posters for the flavor everywhere to remind us what we missed.
Funny b/c I go to griddle at least 20 times and only one time I had to wait over 1 hr (Saturday brunch time). The rest were about 15 minute waits...Just go when it just opens or is about to close.
Dude, the Griddle isn't that busy during "off" hours, like after the lunch rush. Their pancakes bigger than my head, literally, and made of sheer awesome. My favorite pumpkin pancakes are at Hugos on Santa Monica.
Uncle Bill's in Manhattan Beach- they have the best pancakes and now have their own Pumpkin Spice pancake too. Yum!
pumpkin pancakes are also back at BABALU!
i saw it on the menu with my own 2 eyes.
