Frontmen are supposed to be crazy, and very few singers today have matched the nuttiness of Boy George over the years, but who on Earth would ever consider replacing him in the 80s band Culture Club?
Apparently the Club has done just that, and not only does LAist disagree with the choice, but so does George himself. Calling Sam Butcher "dreadful" and "terrible" to the BBC, NME reports that the elder cross-dressing crooner calls the younger one a poor replacement.
"To me, the mark of a good band is when someone else can't successfully sing their songs, and he can't sing my songs," reports the Brit music magazine. The new group will be called Culture Club Reborn and will begin touring the UK in Decemeber.

i saw the band at their july press showcase in london.the new singer is fantastic. the band are as good as ever .look at the press comments on the video. you got it wrong they are fabulous .

1) you're IP address proves that you're all the same person
2) no one has copied the video. we are using the video which is an EPK, which stands for Electronic Press Kit. EPK's are for the press to show the world what the band wants them to see. as as you can see from this video, the new Culture Club in a highly produced mini-commercial wants to display their new singer. it's not yours, it's the band's and when the band gave it to the press it became the press's.
3) you havent been contacted on myspace. quit lying.
4) if you want to pretend that you are more than just one person, try at least to use a differnt . style. of. typing.
5) sorry your favorite band sucks. if i was you i would want this video down too.
6) get used to the criticism. as much as a trainwreck that Boy George is, he's a million times more appealing than the chick who now sings for the group.
