Roger Waters is the only one on that list you should be thinking about seeing. Fucking amazing.

i beg to differ

although you might not like her personality or style, mariah is arguably the best singer in the world right now

the killers will attract the hottest babes in town

the oohlas and darker my love have a strong local base because theyre so damn good

the mere mortals and killola are truly underrated

Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash with Tony Gilkyson is reason enough to go to hollywood and vine

and rhino bucket have been bringing it since 1990

although we appreciate your comments about classic rock, you can forget about applying for the LAist Music Editor any time soon :)

Mariah, BEST SINGER? are you serious. I'm not even that much into classic rock, i just turned 21 a few months ago but i was blown away last night by his performance. now i've been to about 50 shows in the last 3 months. Belle & Sebastian, Flaming Lips, Buju Banton, Massive Attack, Black Keys, All of the Marleys, Del Tha Funkee, CSNY, Ben Harper, Matisyahu, It doesn't stop. I've been to a few music festivals(Coachella, ROTR, Del Mar) I've seen all the local bands one can see (Darker My Love, Wires on Fire) I've been to a few raves(Electic Daisy, Nocturnal, a bunch of others)
And NOTHING touched me as much as Roger Waters. Just my honest opinion.
