The lovable fat dude who reportedly was fired from Saturday Night Live wrote in a blog post on his Myspace page Tuesday that he decided to quit the variety show, despite not having anything new lined up.
Hi my Dear fans and friends alike,Meaning that this season there are exactly zero interesting castmembers on the long-running NBC mainstay.I have decided to not return to Saturday Night Live this season. I wish the best to everyone at the show and expect them to have a great season. It's been a wonderful eight years and I am grateful for all the friends I was able to make and all the great people I had the pleasure of working with. I want to give a big thank you to all my fans for your kind comments and well wishes. I look forward to making you laugh in the future, and hopefully not behind the counter at Burger King. Goodnight my dears!

goodbye horatio. i'll always remember that one time you were actually funny (aaron neville), you know, the one time you weren't laughing over your lines.
no interesting members left?

more like no interesting writers left...
i'll give you maya, but the rest wouldn't have even been able to have a job on snl during any other era. maybe im just old.
You're just old. Amy Poehler is amazing.
Dude, seriously?? Horatio Sanz has consistently been the least funny member of that cast. Every character he plays is the same and he's always the only one laughing at his own stupid jokes. Good riddance. Sorry.
Amy Poehler is good. Maya Rudolph is awesome. And Rachel Dratch is genius.
He was on the show for 8 years?? Wow.
Though I haven't been able to sit through more than a skit or two in about 8 years. Interesting...
