If J'Aime wants to take a class where she sits and just observes people, she might want to take a class on ethnographic research methods. The anthropology department might have some classes for undergrads. It's not the kind of thing undergrads in biology really go for, but as a grad student in education I've had the opportunity to take classes where I get to do what she described and take notes. On the title, a commuter student is going back to a residence hall full of freshmen and sophomores? Just saying.
