Rockstar: Supernova took a wrong turn down American Idol alley tonight, taping the arrival of the singers in their tricked out Honda Elements. We'll take solace that at least they didn't air commercials of the rockers riding the Elements through Hollywood like AI contestants did with the Ford Focus. So they didn't cheese out entirely. But there is one more show left..

All five of the finalists were in the bottom three at some point, but at the end of the voting, Storm, Dilana and Lukas were forced to sing to extend their 15 minutes of fame and make it to next week's final four.

Storm sang "Wish You Were Here" and brought herself to tears, which we understood when she said the song was for her mom, but she also brought Jason Newsted to tears, which we thought made him like a complete tool.

Dilana did a punk version of Cheap Trick's "I Want you to Want Me," which must have been hard seeing as she'd torn a calf muscle and hopped around on one leg, making her breathy voice sound like an out-of-breath cross between Axl Rose and Janis Joplin.

And finally, Lukas reprised his song "Headspin" to give his career a little more exposure. The kid can't dance: He looked like he was having an epileptic attack on stage, and his facial expressions only added to the anguish. Though we like the song, he tried too too hard screaming during most of it.

When it came down to getting the axe, it rained on Storm Large's parade. While LAist thought that Dilana probably had the weakest performance last night, she still has a lot of stored up credit from past shows, when she blew the competition out of the water.

Next week's it comes down to the final four: Toby, Magni, Dilana and Lukas. Right now, good old bloke Toby still looks like the one to beat.
