I love moorpark, was a pivotal street of my youth. Definitely the fastest way from North Hollywood to Beverly Glen! Plus, backwards it is "kraproom" - what's not to love?

The Green Frog for sure. Chimney Sweep, though? It's close, but officially on Woodman and not even visible from Moorpark. Should I do it anyway Big Steve? I guess they are both stumbling steps away from each other.

Evan, I hope to bring this series to other streets and neighborhoods soon. But for now, I will be focusing on Moorpark and it will cover the few scattered bars along it. Stay tuned!

I love stumbling upon quirky, unique, bohemian or anything in between neighborhoods in this city. I was on Ventura Sunday night but unfortunately failed to notice Moonpark. Does any one know of other interesting areas with a nightlife scene (dive bars, eclectic lounges, etc.)?
