To the commenter above: Dude, you just devoted several minutes of your life--minutes that you will never, ever get back, and that you could have spent doing something else--defending Paris Hilton against somebody who claims that she is kind of stupid and that her music isn't very good. What a smug piece of shit. Who does he think he is to decide what is and is not Pop music and whom is capable of recording an album?! Is Banksy the new Rudy Giuliani? And that his prank might bring attention to her? The name-riding shenanigans of a man who is a niche within street / public art (which itself is a niche, a blip on the art scene, which something like 1% of the country are even conscious of anyway!) might bring Paris - probably the most recognizable household name in the country, as much of a name brand as coke and apple - added attention?! Yes, I can imagine. I heard about the prank and thought it was kinda funny, i even have the "That's Hot" track from it, but the constant insults , questioning of her intelligence, and use of "blonde humor" to show just how incredibly "dry" his wit is is somewhere between unfunny and douchebagish. Let's all sit down and listen to Banksy preach to us whom is and is not capable of making music... afterwards maybe someone from Home Depot can talk to us about whom is and is not capable of making cut out stencils.
