Star Wars Fans On Attack At Hollywood Bowl

Did the 50 or so people, spread throughout the audience, plan this light saber spectacle for when John Williams brought out the Star Wars music at last night's Hollywood Bowl concert? It was especially funny when they started running through the aisles swinging those sabers. A few of the summer jobbing teenager aisle attendants were decapitated.

Great show. John Williams is the man. But did anyone find it odd (yet, a little cute) that he used the NBC News theme as the encore?

On a side note:
There's not much Hollywood Bowl left this summer. If you have yet to get out there at least once, it's one of the many great ways to enjoy our city. Why not spend it with 17,000 others? If last night's concert was something you might have enjoyed, may we recommend Carmina Burana (trust us, you've heard it) accompanied with fireworks? We can't believe that show is not sold out yet!

What else is not sold out? Not three nights with Willie Nelson. Not Massive Attack. Not even James Brown.
