I'm not a native Angeleno. Being from the East Coast and being a card-carrying member of the Red Sox Nation, I have spent a good amount of time on Nantucket, Cape Cod, Ogunquit...which is part of the reason why I have now watched this You Tube video five times in a row. Whales on pants, deck shoes, sweaters tied around your neck, a blazer with khaki shorts, Nantuck red - this entire video was definitely styled by Murray's Toggery Shop.

I must admit the parody is pretty spot on, but the production values are a little too good be true... until I realized that the whole thing is a viral ad for Smirnoff Ice.

Wow, someone's seen the Lazy Sunday video. Must be on those internets that are so popular with all the kids today.

I thought it was all perfect except for the constant references for Smirnoff: preps drink real, unadulterated alchohol yo. Gin and tonic, light on the tonic. Then, of course, I realized it was an ad.

But even still, love it. The Saab is what really makes it.
