LAist Got Together, Went Out

inandout.jpg

Every month, LAist ges together and has drinks. Lately, we've hit Atwater Village (The Roost), Los Feliz (Good Luck Bar), Hollywood (The Well) and West L.A. (Don Antonio's). Sometime next month, we will hit The Chimney Sweep in Sherman Oaks.

It began last night at the W Hotel's Whiskey Blue with Gothamist, LLC head honcho Jake Dobkin. After many laughs and drinks, we got hungry. Too bad Noodle Planet was already closed. In-N-Out it was:

  • We never knew you could do "animal style" fries. Now we're feeling sick.
  • We're curious as to why it takes a half hour to get our food when there are 10 people behind the counter working their tails off. Finally, when our food was ready, instead of calling our number like everyone else, they described our order in detail over the microphone.
  • It was kind of funny to get our food served with our receipt soaked in special sauce.
  • The trash...well you can see that above.

Dude, Animalstyle fries are amazing! They do make you feel sick afterwards, but they are so compelling because they taste soooo good.
