LAist Partied With Yelp.com

There's a movement afoot: social networkers are committing MySpace-icide and are finding loquacity at Yelp.com. They are yelping, rather reviewing, restaurants, spas and even freeway interchanges. The San Francisco-based company has gone as far as giving certain members a coveted elite status.

And that's where we crossed paths. A couple weeks ago, we went to a Los Angeles Yelp.com elite party in Hollywood at Tiny's K.O. to steal/recruit writers for LAist meet and greet with other zealous explorers of our city. So we drank, drank some more and then they all left to yelp about it.

So here's our Yelp about Tiny's K.O.: We dug the mixture of clowns and nudes on the walls -- co-owner and bartender Steve #1 said "why the fuck not?" Steve #2's domain is the kitchen where he does comfort food that is all proudly made from scratch, including the aioli and salsa. Veggies are not to fear as he is currently working on his own version of a veggie burger, but carnivores raved on about the cow. This bar/diner on Hollywood Blvd. that strives to be the Burgundy Room meets Bob's Frolic Room is open from 11 am to 2 am daily. Leave pretensions at the door, this place is every man's bar.

Thanks Zach. You need to join Yelp. Keep in mind you omitted the great hamburgers they serve at Tiny's K.O.

Oh but I did, just not so directly... "but carnivores raved on about the cow." As a member of the dark side, I mean as a vegetarian, I am obligated not to be so direct with meat.
