The Daily Gibson

freebagelspennies.jpg

- In Touch has photos of Mel Gibson partying it up and posing for pictures at Moonshadows on PCH an hour before his infamous arrest. Yet somehow TMZ has more In Touch pix of Mel than In Touch does. Mel TMZ really does own Malibu this story.

- LA Times entertainment columnist Patrick Goldstein gives the Hollywood execs hell for not piling on Gibson's drunken slurs. Maybe the suits still remember the billions that Mel has brought them?

- Mel apologized yesterday directly to those that he most offended: "I am in the process of understanding where those vicious words came from during that drunken display, and I am asking the Jewish community, whom I have personally offended, to help me on my journey through recovery."

- One member of that Jewish community, Rabbi David Baron from the Beverly Hills Temple of the Arts, invited the actor to speak at his temple on Yom Kippur, the day of atonement.

- Al Franken suggests that Gibson atones by losing lines in his roles and being a glorified extra.

Hey if you think all this stuff about Mel gibson on PCH is funny, check out this new movie with Snoop Dogg. It is not out yet, but the trailors are hilarious and it is so typical LA!

Screw him. I hope he goes down in flames.

He did what we all do when we are drunk. Stated his true innermost feelings. Now he is only kissing up because he knows if he didn't beg for mercy he's screwed with the studios. The suits will accept the apology publicly for whatever future bucks they can make off him. Privately they will still think he is a anti-Semitic jerk. He's not fooling anybody.
