Live Band Karaoke Wednesdays @ El Cid

this is the best karaoke i've seen in los angeles yet and believe me i am a big fat banana slut for karaoke i've sung my fair share of air supply since i rolled in.

the live backing band is super tight and the songbook is awesome even though it's only got about a hundred songs in it. the crowd is full of excited talented friendly people and of course el cid is a fantastic venue all they need to do now is make drinks cheaper and this will become the prime raging location for wednesday nights, awesome!

so just show up drunk & ready to sing and you're golden.

also major props to the kids who sang weezer and jefferson airplane and dead milkmen and the runaways THOSE WERE GREAT whoever you are!
