At 2:30 p.m. today, LATimes.com launches this: SoCal Hits Record Temp's, Energy Conservation Urged. We know that if you are reading this, you are sitting alone in your nicely ACed apartment. Invite some neighbors over and use one apartment's AC instead! It could be like....a blogging party! And if you have a laptop, unplug it and use the battery for awhile.

In most cases, we wouldn't be jealous of people who live in Lancaster. Today, we are (because storms are cool, no matter how hot it stays). Nonetheless, we're not about to head up there. Rather, this sounds more like it.
