LAObserved points us to Politics in the Zeros who writes about the LAPD brutality press conference. "Several TV news reporters were at the press conference, and there were gasps from the audience when the video was shown."

We showed this video yesterday. Now, Zero points us to a video (below) of the same incident from a different point of view. A very close point of view. Still, no word on LAPD's Blog about this. Also: L.A. in Peril of Another Rampart Scandal, Panel Finds.

The other major police force in the area, LASD, has to wait until next week to find out about having two reality shows follow them around.

We checked out Barone's last night and ran into some gang trouble.

Speaking of gangs, Mayor Sam compares yesterday's terrorism incident in India to L.A.'s murder problem.

On the brighter side of things, have you read Atwater Village Newbie? It's quite a good neighborhood blog.
