Sweet MySpace Page, Jered Weaver

jeredweaver.jpg

The Angels' #1 pick in 2004 was called up a month ago and bro hasn't lost a game yet. The 6'7" brother of teammate Jeff Weaver, has been raising eyebrows by only giving up four ER in 26.1 innings and going 4-0 in four starts. Exactly what Anaheim needed once their ace Bartolo Colon went down.

The only thing that Jered needs is someone to spell check his Myspace account, which at first glance isn't as embarrassing as fellow Angel Kelvim's... until you start reading it.

General:

Music, gunna take up either the gutair or piano one of these days, golf, beach, movies, and good food!

Movies I havent really seen many but i am trying to catch up i like true storys and mysteries.

Who I'd like to meet: There are way to many and most of them are dead.

Not that LAist is one to diss the creative spelling stylz of rookie phenoms but the English department of Long Beach State (Jered's alma mater) must be rolling in their grave.

He doesn't capitalize his "I"s either. Weird.

OMGz! He has a page on teh interweb? On tah myspaze even? wow!

Common man, who cares? There's no point in finding some myspace pages for baseball players. You should know that 50% of the people on myspace aren't the people who they claim to be. Oh, and in case you set up a date with one of those "babes" who want to be your friend...sorry mate, bad news, they're probably guys. Please stick to the news. K? Thanks, bye.

myspace is the hottest website on the interwebs, and before it was sold to fox, was an la startup.

jerrod weaver, the hottest pitcher in los angeles - if you buy into the idea of there being a los angeles angels of anaheim - was born in la, went to school in the lbc and now plays on an la team in his backyard with his brother.

as long as 6'7" jerrod weaver is winning and being 6'7" and misspelling on myspace like an OC jock, LAist is going to cover it.

ma'am, we decide what's news in LA. try not to get in the way.

You are right, Sir. I see the way and now realise that reading you makes me smarter. Thank you for bringing your great intellect to this once ordinary blog and for bringing it to an all new level. Everyone of your posts makes me discover things I didn't know about LA previously. Thank you, yours truly, me.

any time.

(btw, there's more weaver news today.)
