Free as a Bird

Because of LA's jail overcrowding problem, former Lost actress Michelle Rodriguez was released early Thursday -- after serving less than a day of a 60-day jail sentence.

Rodriguez is no stranger to drinking and driving. She just served five days behind bars last month in Hawaii (after declining to do community service). According to an AP wire story:

The Dec. 1 arrest in Honolulu violated the three-year probation term she was given in Los Angeles County in 2004 after pleading no contest to charges of hit-and-run, driving on a suspended license and drunken driving.

Rodriguez's early release really makes it easier for Angelenos to have another one for the road, right? So make ours another Lola's dirty martini with an extra olive.
