Late-Night Commercial Coffee

A Starbucks in Sherman Oaks

There was a day where it was open 24 hours. These days, a nightly close at 2 a.m. is their style (or on Tuesdays at a mysterious 1:30 a.m.) A shift manager proudly told us they are the only late night store of their brand in L.A. County.

Where is this? What is this? It’s tucked away in a strip mall on Ventura Blvd. where late night spots are separated by closed salons and restaurants. If you are on the south rim of the Valley and you’re not in the mood for Cozy’s, or even a dose of an overly expensive grilled cheese at the boys’ restaurants (That’s Jerry, Solly and Mel), then the Starbucks at the Sherman Oaks Plaza might fit the bill for some late night green iced tea.

Problem is, will you find a seat at this late hour? Wait your turn…

Great to know! Always looking for late night chill out spots in the valley. Plus I love iced green tea!
