Dissing Da Vinci

No Love for the Code

Passing by Sony Studios in Culver City, LAist noticed a small group of protesters in front of the main gates. Wondering what the gathering was about we noticed the signs saying "Stop Catholic Bashing" and "Boycott Da Vinci Code". I guess the fact that the movie is FICTIONAL didnt dissuade some religous folks from calling for a boycott. Perhaps they think the book was better.

While this particular group took the march and pickett approach, some groups have embraced the movie as a chance to openly discuss the theological and historical claims from the movie and bestselling novel.

We're sure most of you have already read the book, will you be watching the movie?

( :: ill be watching it here in China. 1) should be interesting to see how the local Chinese feel about the film and 2) its swordfish Tom Hanks, come on.

I'd rather see X-3 The last stand.
