Star-stalking real estate

Today's real estate section in the LA Times includes a short feature on a $4.3 million home in Los Feliz that was restored and tastefully upgraded by Tim Curry. Which is fine with us, and a lot cooler than the creepy Rick Dees Tolouca Lake manse also featured in the paper (Dees bulldozed a 1930's Bette Davis home to build the $6 million crapbox he's now selling).

But we're not plunking down the $4.3 mil, we've decided, because Tim Curry's house isn't Tim Curry's anymore. It's actually being sold by people who bought it from Curry in 2004. We only want to buy a house from a star if they signature goes on that sheaf of real etate douments alongside ours. We want to be able to demand a walkthrough with the owner, to bask in their star-ishness, to get the full Hollywood experience. Is there any anticipation in buying a Tim Curry house, we ask you, if you don't get a chance to shout "say it! say it!" to the man himself?
