The protest was excellent, had to be a million people streaming past our office in macarthur park. However, the LAPD beating the protesters in Los Angeles. Lo-Fi, but read the description, and watch some of the other videos from the MacArthur Park metro station and around.

I just heard on the news that there was hardly any traffic on the free ways during rush hour. How about that for "A day without immigrants!"

This just in: Antonio Villaraigosa has earmarked $500,000 to plant trees on Wilshire so his "gente" can march in the shade.

The news were saying 500,000 - but I'm not sure how accurate those numbers were, or if that was the total for all rallies and marches in SoCal. I'll be able to post photos as soon as I get home.
