One Way To Beat Traffic

The L.A. River during different seasons

Everyone rags on the 405. At least it is predictable. On the other hand, the 101 is becoming the new 405.

The weather is calming down and with less rain comes a very low-filled L.A. River. We have no picture to prove this yet, but we've seen it with our very own eyes: soccer mom SUVs with no official government markings or an exempt license plate driving down the river, parallel to the 101, in the East Valley as if it were Ventura Blvd.

It's probably city workers, but we would like to think this is one creative person's secret route to work. And if it is, we're sorry to cause any future congestion for you.
