If you've been wondering how you can express your affection for our planet, tomorrow is your answer. Saturday, April 22, is Earth Day. We turned to Green LA Girl to see what's happening around the city. We culled these from her list:

Earth Day Audubon 2006
9am-4pm / free
at the Audubon Nature Center, Ernest Debs Park
4700 N. Griffin Ave in Highland Park
Music, solar car seminars, coffee tasting, urban farming and lots of birds and bugs.

Worldfest 2006
10am-6:30pm / adults $5, kids free, pets welcome
Woodley Park in Encino
LA's largest Earth Day celebration. Music, activists, poetry, a scavenger hunt, pet adoption and of course the (probably vegetarian) outdoor food court.

EcoMaya Festival
10am-7pm / free
at the LA State Historic Park, 1201 N. Spring St.
Celebrating Mayan culture and the earth. With food, dance and music.

Whole children, whole family expo
10am-6pm / $10 for adults, kids 14-18 $5, under 14 free
at the Convention Center
The first natural parenting and family expo. Natural birth info, healthy home products, natural medicine.

Earth Day on Catalina Island
9am-4pm / free
It's the grand opening of the Nature Center at Avalon Canyon - stop by for the free admission tickets to the Wrigley Memorial and the Botanical Garden. Music, storytelling, free fruits and water and lots of nature to explore.
