The price tag on fixing up this bridge is relatively cheap compared to the $140 million needed to fix the 6th St. bridge. Last week's LA Times reported that the Riverside Dr./Whitsett Ave. bridge at the Tujunga Wash in Valley Village is among a small list of bridges that are at "the greatest risk of failing in the event of a major earthquake". When it opens, it will be good to have the new Fire Station 78 right down the street.
In any case, the pictured above plan is not of that bridge, rather, the bridge of Tujunga Ave. over the L.A. River in Studio City. Should the City be working on the Riverside Dr./Whitsett Ave. bridge first or should the Tujunga Ave. bridge be on LA Times' list?
