She's done recent buttons and t-shirts for Death Cab for Cutie, now you get to see her live at GR2 (sequel of Giant Robot). Jeana Sohn (work shown above) studied character animation and combines that with her Korean folk sensibilities. Slow Stories will open on Saturday from 6:30 - 10:00 p.m.

Romon Yang, a.k.a. Rostarr (also from Korea), will have his solo show, Neoperspectives, at the BLK/MRKT Gallery in Culver City on Saturday. Spray-can art, calligraphy inspired paintings, and a stop-motion music video will keep you busy Saturday night at this opening from 7:00 - 11:00 p.m.
