Saturday morning sweep

This just in: Tom Delay abandons his bid to return as House Majority Leader.

In more local, salacious news, Sarah Bench-Salorio will spend 6 years in prison — the maximum sentence — for sleeping with three boys at the middle school where she taught. She was 27; they were 12 and 13.

Also local, but much better for you: the Little Tokyo Farmers Market moves to a new spot today: it'll be at 2nd and San Pedro on Saturdays from 10am-3pm.

And local but imaginary: Curbed LA improves on an idea from Here in Van Nuys for next New Year's Eve that sounds way better than Giant Village.

This one's global: Google announces it will start living on video, and bundles a bunch of downloads you already have into GooglePack for Windows. Or maybe it's just us Mac users who've already got Acrobat.
