Mmmmmm... Shiner. I experimented with Shiner last night. I wanted to see if it was a good remedy for Cedar Fever. It didn't cure my Cedar Fever, but I sure cared about it a lot less. :)

At least up in Berkeley, the Cal fans had an excessive amount of Trojan hate. My Astros cap has had me singled out all year long ("You boys from Bush country?"-random jerk at bar; "No, we had grass and trees, too."-Matt's genius response) but for once, the fans were with me at the bar! If for no other reason than the fact that Shiner Bock owns (though not nearly as much as Shiner Hefeweizen), I was absolutely rooting for the underdog. Even USC fans have to admit that it was a great, dramatic game—and I don't even like football. And I agree with Mike about insufferable Trojan fans; the USC supporters in Pasadena on game night were behaving shamefully—mocking UT fans who were minding their own business, yelling and carrying on and trying to start trouble. It was an embarassing night to be an Angeleno, and it made me doubly glad I didn't go to USC.

As much as I try, I just can't feel sorry for you. Try being a Bruin fan in this town. We have to deal with insufferable Trojan fans ALL YEAR LONG. These last few years have been unbearable, let me tell you - especially as the bandwagon grows. That being said, thank God for Vince Young. Hook 'em Horns!
