• The Disney Concert Hall features a Holiday Sing-Along with husband-and-wife Judith Owen and Harry Shearer tonight at 8 PM. Tickets are $10-45.

• It's another High Times Comedy Night at the Hollywood Improv, featuring Sarah Silverman, Zach Galifianakis, Al Madrigal, Matt Besser and Jasper Redd, starting at 8 PM. Tickets are $15.

THURSDAY

• Xiu Xiu, Babyland and The Dead Science are at the Troubadour tonight at 8 PM. Tickets are $12.

• Southern Culture on the Skids and The Weary Boys play at The Echo starting at 8:30. Tickets are $15. [18+]

• Black Rebel Motorcycle Club performs two acoustic shows tonight at the Hotel Cafe—doors open at 7 and 10 PM. All presale tickets are sold out, but a limited number of tickets are available at the door for the dedicated.

FRIDAY

• Richard Swift, Crystal Skulls and David Dondero are at Spaceland tonight at 9 PM.

• Groovy Rednecks, Dime Box Band and Carlos Guitarlos are at The Echo at 9 PM. Tickets are $5. [18+]

SATURDAY

• A John Waters Christmas comes to Royce Hall, featuring a performance by Peaches and a special pre-show meet-and-greet with the man himself. The show begins at 8 PM and tickets are $22-45; the meet-and-greet runs from 6:30-7:30. Tickets are $35. Tickets for the pre-show event are only available via phone at (310) 825-2101.

• The Egyptian Theatre is having an evening of King Kong, with 8 and 10:15 PM screenings of the original 1933 feature, with special giveaways and speakers.

• ASSSSCAT at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre features pop culture pundit Rachel Harris doing unscripted monologues tonight at 8 PM. Tickets are $8.

SUNDAY

• Two-man power group Hella are at the Troubadour tonight with The Mae Shi and Wires on Fire. Doors open at 8 PM; tickets are $10 advance, $12 at the door.

• DJ Dntel, DJ Nobody, Clark and The Minor Cannon play for free tonight at Spaceland.

• Social D are in town with Mercy Killers. The show starts at 8:30 PM at HOB Sunset; tickets are $25.

• Enjoy a staged reading of Truman Capote's A Christmas Memory tonight at 7 PM at the Ruskin Group Theatre in Santa Monica. Tickets are $10.

MONDAY

Tangier features Eleni Mandell with Charlie Wadhams tonight at 8:30 PM. Tickets are $10 advance, $12 day of.

The Wiltern features Queens Of The Stone Age with Autolux tonight at 9 PM. Tickets are $28.50.

• Social D plays the second and final show at the HOB Sunset with Bullets and Octane tonight at 8:30 PM. Tickets are $25.
