This is my secret spot!!! Not very many people know about this place cause they are busy cruising and trying to get in on any of the places along Colorado Blvd. What I love about this place is that they do not have a bouncer at "the door" and there is no cover except for special days like New Year's Eve and St. Paddy's day. For a treat come by here and pick up a roast beef sandwich that is to die for! But the usual pup fare is always great too and try some of their craftsman's brew from a local brewery in the city.

LB's is by a wide margin the best place to get good beers in LA. Above and beyond their wonderful (they're one of the few places in town that serves Traquair's House Ale, for example) import selection, they have Craftsman's (a Pasadena brewery) beers, which are *outstanding*. Their jukebox has the requisit amounts of Foreigner and James Brown, and they usually have footie on the tube. During the last few weeks I worked in Old(e) Town(e) Pasadena, I went there every day. It was great.

They have a second location up in Sierra Madre -- Lucky Baldwin's Delerium & Cafe at 21 Kersting CT. Same menu, same beers, some of the expert wait staff from the Pasadena location (hi J!), etc. Don't know if they have Foreigner on the jukebox, though.

The best thing about this place is all the soccer they play on T.V. It's one of those rare places in the L.A. area that caters to Euro-dudes looking for a good game of football on T.V.
