Take a Sick Day for Traffic

If you aren't already at work, maybe you should consider coming down with the automobile flu and staying home today. With fatal accidents on both the 5 and the 118 this morning, as well as a sig alert on the 10, closing most lanes heading into the city (and in the case of the 5, heading out of the city as well), not driving seems like the best option.

That's especially true when you consider that rain is likely this afternoon meaning the commute home is going to be horrible as well. Why not make a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy the gray skies. It is one of the few days where it really feels like autumn in our fair city.

Who needs traffic jams on a day like this?
