Travel blog, Gridskipper, added an LA correspondent this week. BoHan explains himself and his cohorts thusly:
Our qualifications for this job? Absolutely nothing, other than we live in the area, and we really, really love LA, the most misunderstood metropolis in America. We are not aspiring screenwriters, travel writers, or entertainment executives. We are nothing. We drink too much, we’re queer, we live in a bad neighborhood, we see a shrink, we take Prozac, we’re not rich (by LA standards, anyway), we have low self-esteem, we’re overweight, we’ve slept around a lot with the oh-so-wrong people, we can’t get a boyfriend, and we don’t work out as much as we should. However, on the other hand, we have been called members of West Hollywood’s “Gay C-List,” which we view as too kind of a compliment.
Their first post is all about LA's hotel party scene and now we've got a good reason to subscribe to their LA-centric feed.

FYI--when this site is viewed in IE from a PC, the left sidebar covers the posts. It's been like this for a couple of days now. Works fine in Firefox though.
Um, this site being LAist, not Gridskipper.
