Over the past few years, Michele Berc has gone out of her way to create and curate the coolest art show gathering in LA, Create:Fixate. This month's gathering, an all photography edition of the "Optical Lounge and Audio Lab" located in Downtown on the mezzanine of the Spring Arts Tower, was packed full of a diverse crowd of urban hipsters, art enthusiasts and an assortment of beautiful people. Jason Elias, contributing editor of American Photo, guest curated this month's Create:Fixate and brought a rich and varied ensemble of photographic images to the gala.
Create:Fixate has always included an eclectic assortment of music to compliment the art on display and this month's show featured live acts Violentfingers and The Transmissions along with a lineup of DJs including KCRW's Liza Richardson and ex-rave flyer master Tom Allain AKA stimuli graphics.
