• Tonight at the Henry Fonda Theater, Sleater-Kinney will be performing with Mary Timony. Doors open at 8 PM; tickets are $18.

• Ash and the Rolling Blackouts perform a late show tonight at 10 PM at the Knitting Factory. Tickets are $12.

• The Side Hillman Quartet perform with Thee Missouri and The Good Listeners at Tangier. Doors open at 9 PM; tickets are $10.

• Celebrate the Project Blowed 10th Anniversary Tour tonight at the El Rey. The performances—featuring Aceyalone, Abstract Rude, Bus Driver, DJ Drez, Cve, Medusa, Hip Hop Klan, Customer Service and Jah Orah—begins at 8 PM. Tickets are $22.50.

• The Egyptian Theatre sponsors the premiere of Hayao Miyazaki's new film, Howl's Moving Castle, tonight at 7 PM. The screening will be held at the El Capitan Theatre at 7 PM; the film features vocal performances by Emily Mortimer, Christian Bale, Jean Simmons, Loren Bacall and Billy Crystal. Tickets are available by calling 1-800-DISNEY-6.

MOCA Grand Avenue hosts the panel discussion "Placing, Naming, Shaping" featuring Neli Denari, Jeffrey Inaba and Miwon Kwon on the overlapping concerns of contemporary art, architecture and design. Admission is free.
