LAist Contributor Cool

laist_hitchhiker.jpg

LAist's own Paul Davidson has an article in May's Wired Magazine looking at the upcoming Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy film. He's writing specifically about what skeptical fans of the book should know before going in to see the flick. Random trivia you can throw out at your next party: Did you know that Douglas Adams spent the last two years of his life right here in So. Cal.?

Completely unrelated but also cool: our own Carolyn Kellogg has Jim Ruland as a guest on her weekly podcast. Outside of talking about the upcoming Vermin on the Mount, they talk blogs and reminded us to remember barflies.net. Ms. Jen told us at SXSW that LAist was sleeping on the cool stuff going on South of the 10 freeway and barflies.net is the proof that she's right.
