All About Garbage

LAist shares an office with a music fan who is still raving about the Garbage concert last night at the Wiltern (and no, this isn't an entry shilling for an advertiser, we swear).

Our spy says the group put on a great show, despite the fact that they didn't play many old songs, and featured Shirly Manson in full sex kitten mode sporting a a Brigitte Bardo tousled hair style, sexy red dress, fishnets and killer pumps.

What piqued our interest was his raves for the openining act, The Dead 60s, a UK band that attracted one rabid fan who attended the concert just to see them and get them to sign her copies of their promo CDs. Our office mate says the fan left the concert and didn't stay for the headliner after the band's set had ended. That's devotion.

We hope she got her autographs.
