Isn't the drawback that Sunderland does his job and isn't enough of a "homer" and doesn't project excitement. Harlan's good but to me is overbearing at times. God, no Dick Enberg. I don't need his human interest stories. I don't want an entertainer, I like Harlan, but I just want the play by play. I know he's up there in age, but Ross Porter is looking for work. I have a sneaking fear it'll be Van Earl Wright

Eagle has been the Nets play-by-play man for years. He's also done college basketball for CBS. Hoops is his best sport.

I know, I know, it's in the OC, but at one time Dick Enberg was the voice of the Angels. We truly are spoiled here. Good call on Ian Eagle. I like him and Solomon Wilcotts work together. Don't know if he has any hoops experience, though.
