Family Guy Live!

laist_familyguy.jpg

LAist knows this is a few weeks off but you probably need to get your tickets for it now. The cast of "Family Guy" will be doing a reading of classic episodes, giving a live performance from the upcoming comedy album and giving a sneak preview of the first episode of the new season at The Wiltern on April 15th for two shows. "Family Guy Live!" is being produced by Just For Laughs, creators of the Montreal Comedy Festival.

Does the fact that "Family Guy" premiered 6 years ago make anyone else feel old or is it just us?

In unrelated far-off news: This is definitely part of the good Grove. The Grove's Apple Store will have Dan Halsted and Phillip Hall from Camelot Pictures in-store on April 1st to talk about Macs and the Movies. Halsted has produced some of our favorite films of recent years like "The Virgin Suicides" and "Garden State" (not to mention "Any Given Sunday" which is highly underrated) and has created a scheduling system with iCal and Word on the mac. That's damn cool.
